Here are the changes included in today’s update:

• Fixed a crash when attempting to open the Profile screen when offline.
• Fixed an issue where selection boxes could cause a framerate hitch while playing in a campaign or multiplayer match.
• Implemented a variety of minor performance improvements to multiplayer and campaign play.
• Updated the terrain grid to be semi-transparent and to more accurately align to a variety of terrains.

• Sorry guys i can't see the [ . . . ] button to get updates on microsoft Store. Is there anyway to get updates ? I can't see games in multiplayer menu i think it's because of updates ... Help

• Have you guys considered using Neural nets for balancing units stats? Not sure how it could work but def easier then humans attempting to manage 100's of units

• What if we got the full map screenshot option again? It was broken in the HD edition

• What of today's stealth update to 33315? It didn't address my inability to install the UHD addon, which became a thing with 33164.

• I also am having issues with my Selection Rectangle after the update. Literally made the game unplayable for now. I was looking forward to this week and playing the campaigns. An update should never make the game worse and when bugs like this are reported we need you guys on top of it. I would love to continue my nostalgic gaming experience so please roll out a fix or a patch for this problem. I have tried everything to fix this problem for 3 days and nothing has helped. Its almost as if the screen is off center because when I go to select multiple units with the mouse drag, it won't go past center screen and all the health bars are under the map in a way. Feels like I have to watch away from the battles to be able to keep track of my units health bars. Hopefully this gets fixed asap. Thanks in advance.

  after the update my Selection Rectangle isn´t calibrated anymore. My mouse is still working and I can also select with my mouse, but the rectangle is at a completly different spot of the screen.
  Do you have any suggestions?

• Et voilà...... Encore un bon produit des années 2000 qui reflète la politique actuelle de Microsoft, à savoir, on sort un tas de jeux mal foutus et mal conçus qui ne fonctionnent pas mais qui attires les foules. C'est le seul jeu actuellement qui mets à genoux une carte graphique RTX, qui pompe 99% des ressources d'une carte graphique série 9. Le seul qui s'occupe de pomper 80 % de la RAM (32 Gb tout de même).... Sans compter l'alimentation ( Corsair 850 Watts) qui devient la parfaite plaque chauffante pour cuire un œuf ! Le mode Multijoueur ne fonctionne pas, point barre. Et le mode solo je ne le conseille à personne sauf si vous voulez changer les composants de votre ordinateur, une solution, inonder les forums Microsoft de vos doléances sans mettre de gants. Bien sur, certains diront, c'est pas leur faute, c'est chez vous, diminuez les paramètres (pour un jeu qui a 20 ans)..... Comme pour le post ci-dessous, c'est une honte.

  • Moi de mon côté le jeu tourne plutôt bien sûr une gtx1060 avec 16go de ram (laptop). J'ai eu pas mal de crash au début mais cela va en s'améliorant.
    Je m'entraîne pour être près quand le 4 va sortir 😁✌️

I have been playing AOE 2 since the 2000 Beta and honestly should be ashamed of yourselves for releasing such a hot, piece of garbage that was ill-prepared for the mass market. AOE 2 the year 2000 Beta runs better than this sorry excuse for a piece of software you released. Everyone on your dev team should be fired.

  In case you don’t realize, the majority of us are thirty-somethings with jobs, families and lives who don’t have time for you to get your shit together. I have had two different games for an hour in crash online for multiplayer and honestly do not have anymore time to waste for you to get it “right.” Anyways, as you can see I am frustrated and Microsoft will never get another dime from me. I am truly in disbelief that I spent fifteen dollars on this hunk of junk.
